Bike the Inn

A special family outing. Bring the kids and bike the Heritage Rail Trail with the family! 21 miles from York Pennsylvania to the Maryland line, where the trail connects with the North Central Rail Trail and travels another 20 miles to Hunt Valley Maryland. Bike the Inn weekend includes:

Lodgings in our adjoining rooms to comfortably accommodate families of four in two separate rooms.

Girlfriend's Weekend

Time to get together with your girlfriends. You know the girls I’m talking about-the ones who were there with you through the tough times, the ones you just need to see in person every once in a while. With a king size bed, a Jefferson bed tucked into a cubbyhole, and two sleeper sofas, our penthouse suite can comfortably accommodate five to six guests. Tour the wineries during the day, try some local wines, and come back to the Inn for dinner. Have a drink in the bar, and top off the evening with a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace. Girlfriend’s weekend includes:

Fri-Sat: 1 night for $250, add an additional night for $75.

Christmas Eve at The Inn

The Glen Rock Carol Singers need no introduction. Every Christmas Eve, they begin their evening at the Zion Lutheran Church precisely at 11 PM. The 50 carolers and their entourage bring Christmas song and cheer to the residents and visitors of Glen Rock (they have for 160 years now dating back to 1848). all through the night.

Perhaps you’ll meet the Caroler's Peanut Man . He preceeds the Carolers handing out peanuts (30 pounds each evening) and announcing their eminent arrival. Follow the carolers through the streets all through the night.

At about 7 AM, the trek ends with the singing of the "Doxology" at the Community Christmas tree. The tree is just outside the Inn’s front door.
